FC 26 Path to Glory Promo Confirmed: Vinícius Jr, Rodri, Musiala, De Jong & More Headline Road to the World Cup Event

The excitement surrounding FC 26 is about to reach another level as the highly anticipated Path to Glory promo has officially been revealed for this Friday's content drop. Inspired by the journey toward the biggest international tournament in football, this new Ultimate Team campaign will celebrate some of the world's biggest stars as they begin their road to international glory.

Unlike prediction squads and community mock-ups, the players shown in the leaked images are reportedly confirmed for the opening Path to Glory team, with even more cards expected to be revealed in the coming days. As always, Path to Glory items are expected to receive upgrades based on real-life international performances, making these cards some of the most exciting live items Ultimate Team has ever seen.

What Is the FC 26 Path to Glory Promo?

Path to Glory has traditionally been one of the most popular live promos in Ultimate Team because it combines elite player items with real-world football performances. Every match, victory, clean sheet, or tournament milestone has the potential to boost player ratings, meaning cards can continue improving long after their initial release.

This year's edition appears to be centered around the Road to the World Cup theme, bringing together superstar players from some of football's strongest international nations. With upgrade potential attached to these cards, many FUT players will view them not just as short-term additions but as long-term investments capable of becoming some of the best items in FC 26.

Vinícius Jr Headlines the Promo with a 97-Rated Superstar Card

Brazilian superstar Vinícius Jr looks set to become one of the most expensive cards in the entire promo. His confirmed 97-rated left-wing item features a frightening combination of 99 pace, 95 shooting, 88 passing, 99 dribbling, 37 defending, and 82 physicality, making him one of the most complete attackers released so far.

In-game, this card has all the ingredients needed to dominate FUT Champions. The combination of maximum pace and near-perfect dribbling should make him almost impossible to stop in one-versus-one situations. With Brazil expected to be among the favorites for future international tournaments, Vinícius also possesses incredible upgrade potential, which could push his card even closer to perfection.

Rodri Receives an Elite Midfield Upgrade

Spain's midfield general Rodri is another major inclusion in the Path to Glory squad. His 95-rated CDM card comes equipped with 88 pace, 85 shooting, 95 passing, 93 dribbling, 91 defending, and 90 physicality, creating one of the most balanced midfield cards available.

What makes Rodri so dangerous in FC 26 is his ability to impact every phase of the game. He can break up attacks with elite defensive stats, dictate possession through world-class passing, and contribute offensively when opportunities arise. If Spain enjoys a successful international run, Rodri's item could become one of the most dominant midfield cards in Ultimate Team.

Frenkie de Jong Brings Complete Midfield Control

The Netherlands are represented by Frenkie de Jong, whose 96-rated central midfield card looks exceptional. Featuring 93 pace, 89 shooting, 95 passing, 96 dribbling, 92 defending, and 90 physicality, this is arguably one of the most complete midfield items released during the current game cycle.

De Jong's ability to carry the ball through midfield combined with elite defensive numbers makes him a dream card for possession-based players. His smooth dribbling and exceptional passing should allow him to control matches from start to finish, while his defensive presence ensures he remains effective without the ball as well.

Jamal Musiala Looks Like a Future Meta Favorite

Germany's golden boy Jamal Musiala enters the promo with a sensational 95-rated CAM card. His statistics include 93 pace, 93 shooting, 93 passing, 96 dribbling, 73 defending, and 78 physicality, making him one of the most creative attacking midfielders available.

Musiala's dribbling is likely to be his biggest strength in-game. The combination of elite agility, close control, and attacking intelligence should make him a nightmare for defenders. If Germany performs strongly in upcoming international competitions, this card could quickly become one of the most sought-after live items in Ultimate Team.

Kevin De Bruyne Adds World-Class Creativity

Belgium's Kevin De Bruyne earns a 93-rated CAM item that focuses on elite playmaking qualities. His card features 87 pace, 90 shooting, 98 passing, 93 dribbling, 75 defending, and 84 physicality, giving him one of the best passing ratings in the entire promo.

Even at this stage of the FC 26 cycle, De Bruyne remains unique because few players can match his ability to create chances from anywhere on the pitch. Whether delivering through balls, long passes, or dangerous crosses, this card should instantly transform any attacking setup and remains a strong candidate for upgrades if Belgium progresses deep into international competition.

Bukayo Saka Continues His Rise with a Dynamic 94-Rated Card

England's Bukayo Saka receives a fantastic 94-rated right-wing item featuring 94 pace, 91 shooting, 94 passing, 83 dribbling, 84 defending, and 80 physicality. These well-rounded numbers perfectly reflect his versatility and importance for both club and country.

Saka's ability to contribute in attack while also helping defensively makes him incredibly valuable in FC 26. His pace and creativity should shine on the wing, while England's status as a tournament contender gives this card significant upgrade potential moving forward.

Alphonso Davies Brings Explosive Speed to the Back Line

Canada's Alphonso Davies is another headline inclusion with a 94-rated left-back card. Featuring 99 pace, 85 shooting, 89 passing, 87 dribbling, 87 defending, and 89 physicality, this item has all the tools needed to become one of the game's best full-backs.

The standout feature is obviously his incredible speed. Few attackers will be able to outrun Davies, while his improved defensive and physical attributes ensure he remains effective in defensive situations. Players looking for an attacking full-back will find this card especially appealing.

More Confirmed Stars Joining the Path to Glory Squad

Beyond the featured cards shown with ratings, several other major names have been confirmed for the Path to Glory team. These include:

  •  Rúben Dias

  •  Rodri

  •  Jamal Musiala

  •  Kevin De Bruyne

  •  Bukayo Saka

  • James Rodríguez

  •  Frenkie de Jong

  •  Alphonso Davies

  •  Ronald Araújo

  •  Christian Pulisic

  •  Omar Marmoush

These players represent some of the strongest international squads in world football, which only increases the excitement surrounding their potential upgrades throughout the campaign.

Why Path to Glory Could Be the Biggest Promo of the Summer

Path to Glory always generates huge interest because every match played in real life can directly impact card performance in Ultimate Team. Unlike traditional promo cards that remain static, these live items evolve throughout the event, creating constant excitement and market movement.

With elite players already confirmed and more additions expected before Friday's release, FC 26's Path to Glory promo is shaping up to be one of the most important Ultimate Team events of the year. If the upgrade system returns in full force, many of these cards could eventually become endgame-level superstars capable of carrying squads all the way through the remainder of the FC 26 cycle.
