The straight answer: FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 is expected on Friday 9 October 2026 at 6 PM BST (10 AM PT, 10:30 PM IST). The leaked 15-player squad includes Rio Ngumoha, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Lewis Hall, Vicky López, Lily Yohannes, Mika Godts and Tom Bischof. No Future Stars ratings have leaked yet, and EA hasn't confirmed SBC or objective players. Everything here is a leak until the cards hit packs.

When does FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 come out?

FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 is expected on Friday 9 October 2026 at 6 PM BST. That's the date and time reported by both RealSport101's Team 1 leak roundup and Destructoid's Team 1 report, and it fits the usual Friday promo slot.

That's early. Properly early.

In FC 26, Future Stars didn't land until 30 January, after TOTY, per Dexerto's FC 26 Future Stars wiki. For FC 27, EA moved it to the Season 1 headline slot. RealSport101 reported back in August that this came out of the FC 27 Ultimate Team deep dive, alongside EA trimming minor promo weeks so the big campaigns get more room.

Dexerto's FC 27 promo calendar has Ultimate Scream pencilled in for 23 October, so expect two Future Stars teams before the Halloween cards take over.

FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 leaked players and current gold ratings

The leaked FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 squad has 15 players, with Vicky López, Lewis Hall, Ngumoha and Lewis-Skelly the biggest names. RealSport101 and Destructoid both list the same 15.

Here's what neither of them gives you. I've pulled every player's current FC 27 gold card, so you know the starting point before EA boosts it. That's the number that tells you how big the jump is when the Future Stars version drops.

Gold ratings come from EA's official FC 27 pages for Vicky López, Robin Risser, Lily Yohannes, Tom Bischof, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Rio Ngumoha. The rest are from FUT.GG's FC 27 database, including Lewis Hall, Mika Godts and Julian Hall. I couldn't confirm a FC 27 gold card for Gilberto Mora, so his row stays blank rather than guessed.

Two things jump out.

First, the spread is huge. Vicky López starts at 84. Julian Hall starts at 68. If EA bunches the promo ratings into a tight band, the way it did with Destined for Glory, Julian Hall's card is the biggest glow-up in the promo by a mile.

Second, the Premier League core is ready-made. Ngumoha, Lewis-Skelly, Lewis Hall and Josh King are four Prem cards in one team. Two of them play left-back, which is either great news or a very awkward chem conversation.

Is Rio Ngumoha the best card in FC 27 Future Stars Team 1?

On pace, almost certainly. Ngumoha's gold card already has 90 Pace at 18 years old, per his EA FC 27 ratings page, with 79 Dribbling and Quick Step+. Any Future Stars boost starts from a base that's already quicker than most promo wingers.

On overall, probably not. His gold is 75, the third-lowest in the squad. Vicky López (84) and Lewis Hall (83) start nine points higher, so they're the likelier picks for the highest Future Stars OVR.

My verdict: Ngumoha is the card you'll actually feel in Rivals. Vicky López is the one most likely to top the ratings graphic.

Name check: what some Future Stars Team 1 posts are getting wrong

Rushed leak posts are tripping over this squad. Two Halls, a Mora who isn't the famous Mora, and a King who isn't the famous King. If a blog or an AI answer tells you any of these, it's wrong:

• "Hall" is one player

  There are two Halls. Lewis Hall is Newcastle's 83-rated left-back. Julian Hall is an 18-year-old New York Red Bulls striker. Destructoid's list just says "Hall" for one of them, which doesn't help.

• Rodrigo Mora, the Porto playmaker

  It's Gilberto Mora. Gil Mora is Tijuana's Mexican attacking midfielder, per his FotMob profile. Different player, different league.

• Joshua King, the Norwegian striker

  It's Josh King of Fulham, the 19-year-old English CAM.

• Jacobo González

  It's Jacobo Ramón, Como's Spanish centre-back.

• Mika Godts, Ajax

  Mika Godts plays for Paris SG now. PSG signed him in August, as Ahram Online reported.

• "Leaked" Team 1 ratings with 85s and 90s

  No Future Stars ratings have leaked. Those graphics are fan concepts or predictions. Not leaks.

Who is Julian Hall, and why is he in Future Stars?

Julian Hall is an 18-year-old New York Red Bulls striker and a 2026 MLS All-Star. He's the lowest-rated gold in the squad at 68 OVR, and the most interesting card in it.

My verdict: if he lands as a pacey 80-something ST at a non-premium price, he's the sleeper card of Team 1. Wait for the actual rating before you get excited though.

How do FC 27 Future Stars cards work?

Future Stars cards are boosted versions of young players, rated on their potential rather than their current level. They come mainly from packs, with extra Future Stars items released through SBCs and objectives, per Destructoid's report.

Will FC 27 Future Stars cards upgrade?

Not confirmed. RealSport101's leak roundup suggests the cards are likely to work as live items tied to each player's own performances. EA hasn't said so yet. Until it does, don't pay an upgrade premium on any of these cards.

Will there be Future Stars Evolutions in FC 27?

Nothing confirmed yet, but FC 26 had them. Last year EA launched age-restricted Evolutions alongside Future Stars, letting you level up eligible young players through progression boosts, per The Xbox Hub's FC 26 Future Stars write-up. Will Future Stars Team 1 have Heroes or Icons?

Unknown for FC 27. In FC 26, Team 1 came with two Future Stars Heroes, Micah Richards and Cesc Fàbregas, per The Xbox Hub. Nothing similar has leaked for FC 27 yet.

Will Future Stars Team 1 have SBCs and objectives?

Yes, almost certainly, but no specific SBC or objective players have leaked as of 7 October. Destructoid reports that EA will release Future Stars items through SBCs and objectives as well as packs. That's also how FC 26's version ran, per Dexerto.

The pattern this season backs it up. Destined for Glory Team 1 got SBC and objective cards including Antonio Nusa, Renato Veiga and Davide Frattesi, per RealSport101's DFG Team 1 SBC leak. Expect a similar spread for Future Stars.

Season 1 matters too. RealSport101's roadmap leak says promo cards will sit among the final rewards on the free and premium Season 1 tracks. If that holds, at least one Future Stars card should be earnable without opening a single pack.

How do you get FC 27 Future Stars Team 1 players?

From packs, the Transfer Market, and SBCs or objectives once Team 1 goes live at 6 PM BST on 9 October. Packs are luck. The market is the only sure route to a specific card.

If you're targeting one player, a few habits help:

1. Have coins ready before Friday. New promo cards swing hardest in the first few hours after release.
2. Wait for the real ratings. Every OVR you've seen so far is a guess.
3. Check the position on release. Lewis-Skelly's gold also lists CDM and CM, so his promo card might not land at LB.
4. Don't pay for upgrades that aren't confirmed. Live upgrades are still only reported, not announced.
