Three things jump out. Yamal's 91 is the joint-highest rating in the base game, level with the top of the FC 27 base ratings. Four of the eleven are women's players: Bronze, Brugts, Memeti and Dumornay, with Gutierres a fifth. And Felix Nmecha is the first player in the series to earn an in-form card through a public vote.

FC 27 TOTW 2 Predictions: Who's Tipped For Week Two?
Michael Olise, Raphinha and Mohamed Salah are the three names predictors agree on for FC 27 TOTW 2. Beyond those three, the tips split, and so do the predicted ratings. That's why we're not printing predicted overalls here. Two outlets publishing the same player at 88 and 92 tells you nobody knows the number yet. What you can use is who keeps appearing.

What Time Does FC 27 TOTW Come Out?
FC 27 Team of the Week is revealed every Wednesday at 18:00 UK time and runs for one week until the next squad replaces it. TOTW 1 broke the pattern slightly: it was revealed on 16 September but couldn't be opened until early access began on the 18th. From TOTW 2 onwards, the standard Wednesday rhythm takes over.

How The FC 27 TOTW Fan Vote Works
For each of the first six Team of the Week squads, the community votes on one player. EA confirmed the scheme: every player in the Ratings Database is eligible, and you vote through EA's Ratings Hub.

Two things worth being clear on. The vote decides who gets in, not the rating. EA still sets the card based on real-world performance and it's one slot out of 23. The other 22 are still EA's editorial call. The winning card carries a Community Player marker in-game, so you'll be able to spot it.
Why Team of the Week Matters More In FC 27
In FC 27, a TOTW call-up does three jobs beyond giving you an in-form card. It feeds the Holographic system, it upgrades Ones to Watch cards, and it fills a Gallery Set.
01. Holographics
From TOTW 1 onwards, TOTW items in the pack pool can drop as Holographic versions. Rated 87 or below is Regular, 88 and above is Pristine, and the bonuses stack.
02. OTW upgrades
Every TOTW inclusion gives a Ones to Watch card +1 OVR. So the squad each Wednesday decides which Season 1 OTW cards grow.
03. Gallery Sets
There's a dedicated TOTW Gallery Set of 20 cards. TOTW items also push up the grade on any club or league Set they belong to.
That second point is the one most people miss. If you own a Ones to Watch card, Wednesday's reveal is also your upgrade news.
