FC 27 Scream Tokens Guide: How to Earn Them, Every Token Store Price & What to Buy

You've got 400-odd tokens sitting there. Verón's staring at you for 900. Jill Scott wants 1,500. And three different guides are telling you three different totals.

The straight answer: FC 27 Scream Tokens (officially Ultimate Scream Tokens) are the event currency for the Ultimate Scream Token Store. You earn them from themed Objectives, the Ultimate Scream Puzzle SBCs, two Flash Rush events a week and the Ghoul Fest Live Event. As of 26 October, 920 tokens are confirmed in week one. The store closes Friday 13 November 2026 at 6 PM UK (11:30 PM IST), every reward is untradeable, and tokens can't be bought with coins or FC Points.

That's the short version. The long version is where the 900-token mistakes live.

What are Scream Tokens in FC 27?

Scream Tokens are an event-only currency you earn by playing during Ultimate Scream and spend in the Ultimate Scream Token Store on Heroes, players, Evolutions and packs. EA's official Ultimate Scream announcement confirms they come from themed Objectives, Flash Rush and Ghoul Fest, and that the store stays open one extra week after the campaign ends.

They're not the same as Gallery Tokens. EA hands those out separately when you submit a set of five or more Ultimate Scream players in the Ghostly Gallery. Two currencies, one promo, maximum confusion.

Three rules worth knowing before you spend a single token:

• You can't buy them. EA only lists gameplay and SBC routes, and FUTWIZ's token store breakdown notes that community reporting says no coins and no FC Points. You play for them or you don't get them.
• Everything you redeem is untradeable. FUT.GG's Ultimate Scream guide marks every store reward that way.
• They don't carry over. Whatever's left on 13 November is gone. Spend them.

How do you earn FC 27 Scream Tokens?

You earn FC 27 Scream Tokens from four sources: the Phantom Playgrounds objectives, the six Ultimate Scream Puzzle SBCs, Flash Rush events and Ghoul Fest. Each objective pays a small amount, and each group pays a 100-token bonus when you finish all of it. That bonus is where a chunk of your haul hides.

Here's what's live and confirmed on the objective trackers right now.

The Phantom Playgrounds objectives (450 tokens)

Seven objectives at 50 tokens each, plus the 100 bonus. The requirements are nationality-gated, so plan your bench before you start:

• Gulyabani's Wrath: play 7 matches with a Türkiye player in your starting XI.+50
• Tricks and Treats: score from outside the box in 10 separate matches with 4-star or better weak foot players.+50
• Nessie's Deep Gift: a through-ball assist in 15 separate matches with a Scottish player in your XI.+50
• Grýla's Cauldron: win 13 matches with an Iceland player in your XI.+50
• Lost Your Head?: score 10 headers with a USA player in your XI.+50
• The Red Countess: a chip-shot goal in 5 separate matches with a Hungarian player in your XI.+50
• Spirit Harvest: score 50 goals with an Ultimate Scream player in your XI.+50

Squad Battles on Semi-Pro counts. That's the cheat code. You don't need to sweat Rivals for any of this.

The Puzzle SBCs (280 tokens)

One Halloween puzzle SBC a day, 30 tokens each, plus the 100 bonus for all six. Operation Sports' token sources list has them dropping daily:

So the full 280 isn't claimable until Wednesday 28 October. If your count looks low, that's why.

Flash Rush (190 per event)

The Feral Strength Flash Rush pays 30 tokens for each of three tasks (win 3 matches, score 2 goals with a defender, assist 3 goals) plus the 100 bonus. Two of the tasks also hand you loan Ultimate Scream versions of Tahith Chong and Castello Lukeba. EA says there are two Flash Rush events every week. Only one is listed on the trackers so far. If the next three pay the same 190, that's another 570 on top. I'd bet on it, but EA hasn't published the numbers, so treat it as likely, not a lock.

Ghoul Fest and Team 2 objectives (amounts not published)

Ghoul Fest lands in week two as a No Rules Live Event, meaning no offsides and no fouls. Absolute chaos, and you'll love it for about four games. EA confirms it pays tokens but hasn't said how many. When does the Scream Token store open and close?

The Ultimate Scream Token Store opened on 23 October and closes on Friday 13 November 2026 at 6 PM UK, a week after the campaign ends on 6 November. Here's the full window, with the dates from FUT.GG's schedule and EA's announcement.

  Team 1 and the Token Store go live at 6 PM UK. Phantom Playgrounds and the first puzzle start.

• Wed 28 Oct · Last puzzle

  Hocus Pocus drops, so all 280 Puzzle Completionist tokens are claimable.

• Fri 30 Oct · Team 2 and Ghoul Fest

  Week two starts: new objectives expected, plus Ghoul Fest and more Flash Rush.

• Fri 6 Nov · Campaign ends

  No new token sources after this. The store stays open.

• Fri 13 Nov · Store closes

  6 PM UK (11:30 PM IST). Unspent tokens are lost.

• Tue 24 Nov · Beaver Moon

  Ultimate Scream player items get one face stat at 99 and full chemistry until 1 December.

FC 27 Scream Tokens store: every reward and price

The Ultimate Scream Token Store has 17 rewards, from Jeppe Tverskov at 50 tokens to Jill Scott at 1,500. Prices and positions below match FUT.GG's store table. Some databases list Verón at CAM and Scott at CB, so check the card in-game before you redeem.

All untradeable. Store open 23 October to 13 November 2026, 6 PM UK.

Buying literally everything at its limit costs 11,800 tokens. Nobody's getting near that. You're picking two or three things, max, so pick properly.

Which Scream Token rewards are actually worth it?

Grab Tverskov for 50 tokens first, then save for Verón at 900. Most players should skip Wicked Winger and the Team 1 Guarantee Pack. Here's the ranking and the reasoning.

1. Jeppe Tverskov (50 tokens): the no-brainer

An 83 for 50 tokens. That's not the point, though.

Tverskov is an Ultimate Scream player item, which means three things. The card ticks the Spirit Harvest requirement for 50 goals with a Scream player in your XI. It counts toward the five-card Ultimate Scream set in the Ghostly Gallery for Gallery Tokens. And it gets the Beaver Moon boost on 24 November. Redeem it the second your Puzzle SBC tokens hit 50. It pays you back.

2. Juan Sebastián Verón (900 tokens): the main buy

FUTBIN's Verón listing has the card at 82 Pace, 86 Shooting, 88 Passing, 86 Dribbling, 74 Defending and 82 Physical, with a 4-star weak foot and PlayStyles including Tiki Taka, Incisive Pass and Long Ball Pass. Hero chem link on top. It's the best card you can afford with week one alone. 920 confirmed, 900 needed. Redeem Tverskov first and you're 30 short, which the next Flash Rush covers. It's the clearest plan in the store.

3. Saïd El Mala (300 tokens): the budget striker

Cheap, an 85 ST, and another Scream item for the Gallery set and the moon week. If Verón's not your style, El Mala plus Le Fée plus Tverskov costs exactly 900 too.

4. The Haunted Wall (500 tokens): only with the right card

FUTWIZ lists the requirements as max 81 OVR, max 85 Pace and max 7 PlayStyles. It gives +8 OVR capped at 84, +1 weak foot capped at 3, and one of Bruiser, Intercept or Anticipate.

Good if you've got a loved 76 to 81 defender sitting in your club. Pointless if you don't. Check the Evo's objectives in game before you redeem it.

5. Jill Scott (1,500 tokens): week-two money only

Scott is the headline Hero: an 87, listed at CDM on FUT.GG and flexible enough to cover the back line and midfield. But 1,500 is 580 more than everything confirmed so far. You only get there if both weeks of Flash Rush and Ghoul Fest pay out. Don't plan around this card until you've seen the week-two numbers.

6. Team 1 Guarantee Pack (800 tokens): a gamble

One untradeable Team 1 player, any rating. Could be Raphinha. Could be an 85 you'd never pick. For 100 tokens more you get a known 87 Hero. I'd take the known 87.

7. Wicked Winger (900 tokens): skip it

Here's the trap. The Evo adds +15 OVR, but it caps at 85, and the card has to start at 82 or lower with max 90 Pace and max 70 Defending, per FUTWIZ. A 70-rated winger gets the full +15. An 82-rated one gets +3. Same 900 tokens either way.

It does give a PlayStyle+ (Finesse Shot, Quick Step or Technical) and +1 skill move. Fine if you've got a cheap favourite RW you're desperate to keep. For everyone else, it costs the same as Verón and does less.

8. Gold packs and cosmetics: leftovers only

The packs are untradeable, so they're SBC fodder and nothing else. The cosmetic Evos change the card design, not the stats. Use them to burn whatever's left in the second week of November.

How should you spend your FC 27 Scream Tokens? Plans by haul

Match your spending to the tokens you've actually banked, not what you hope to earn. Here's what each realistic haul buys.

One timing tip that saves people every year. The campaign ends 6 November, but the store stays open until 13 November at 6 PM UK (11:30 PM IST). You have a full week to count your haul before committing. Use it.

Do Scream Token players get the Beaver Moon upgrade?

Yes. EA says all Ultimate Scream player items get one face stat raised to 99 and full in-position chemistry from 24 November to 1 December 2026, and the token store players are Ultimate Scream items. FUTWIZ explicitly includes token store redemptions in that.

Two caveats. EA hasn't confirmed whether the 99 stat is random this year, though it was in FC 26. And it's unclear whether Evolution items get the boost, so don't count on a Wicked Winger or Haunted Wall card lighting up.

Name check: the Scream Token numbers that are wrong online

AI answers and a few guides are mixing these up. Here's what's off:

• "You only get 200 tokens from objectives." That counts the 100 group bonuses and skips the per-task rewards. The real total from Phantom Playgrounds and the Puzzle SBCs is 730.
• "630 tokens total." One early list counted Phantom Playgrounds at 350 and forgot its own 100-token completion bonus. It's 450, so those two groups make 730, and Flash Rush takes the confirmed total to 920.
• "The Team 1 Guarantee Pack costs 550." At least one store listing shows that, with the Evos at 800 and 400. FUT.GG's store table shows 800 for the pack, 900 for Wicked Winger and 500 for The Haunted Wall.
• "Verón is a striker." FUT.GG lists the card at CM, and other databases at CAM. Not a striker either way.
• "There's a Team 2 Guarantee Pack for 800." One X account reported it. It's not on any store listing yet. Treat it as unconfirmed until 30 October.
