FC 27 TOTW 3: Full Team, Ratings, Players, Release Date and Which Cards Are Worth It

International break week. Usually that means a TOTW full of blokes you've never heard of.

Not this time. There's a 90-rated Chawinga at the top, Ødegaard and Gyökeres at 87, and Modrić, at 41, getting another in-form. The real story is further down the list though, where some cards jumped nine points.

The straight answer: FC 27 TOTW 3 is released today, Wednesday 30 September 2026, at 6 PM BST and stays in packs until 7 October. The leaked 23-player squad is led by Temwa Chawinga (90 LM), then Martin Ødegaard and Viktor Gyökeres (87), and Luka Modrić and Ellie Carpenter (86). It's built mostly on international break performances, so every men's card in it comes from a Nations League game or a friendly. None of it is official until the cards hit packs.

That's the squad. The rest of this post is the bit nobody else has done: how much each card actually went up from its gold, which leak version to trust, and which cards are worth your coins.

When Does FC 27 TOTW 3 Release?

FC 27 Team of the Week 3 releases on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 6 PM BST, the usual weekly Ultimate Team content time. It replaces TOTW 2 in packs and stays there for one week, until TOTW 4 drops on Wednesday 7 October.

That timing comes from RealSport101's TOTW 3 leak report, and it matches the Wednesday rhythm FC 27 has used since TOTW 2 went live on 23 September, per FUTBIN's TOTW 2 page.

One more thing: while a player's TOTW card is in packs, the game takes their base gold card out of the pack pool, as RealSport101 notes. So you won't be packing a gold Ødegaard this week.

FC 27 TOTW 3 Full Team and Ratings (Leaked)

The TOTW 3 leak has 23 players: Chawinga at 90, Ødegaard and Gyökeres at 87, Modrić and Carpenter at 86, and a long tail of 80-rated cards. The squad is 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 10 midfielders and 8 strikers. Here's the part the leak graphics don't show you. I've lined every card up against its gold rating in EA's official FC 27 ratings database, so you can see how big each boost really is.

Gold ratings, positions and clubs come from EA's FC 27 ratings pages, including Chawinga, Ødegaard, Gyökeres, Modrić and Henry Martín. Leaked TOTW ratings are from the RealSport101 leak and the full leaked squad graphic doing the rounds today.

Where there's a range, the two leak versions disagree. Baena, Félix, Ueda and Schröder have different overalls depending on which version you read. Everything else matches.

Which TOTW 3 leak version should you trust?

The version where every face stat goes up by exactly the same amount as the overall. It lines up with EA's gold cards almost perfectly. There are two versions of the TOTW 3 leak going around, and their face stats don't match. I checked both against EA's gold stats. In the full squad graphic, Chawinga, Gyökeres and Carpenter go up by exactly +1 in every stat, matching their +1 overall. Son, Kayode, Félix and Baena go up by exactly +2 everywhere, matching a +2 overall.

RealSport101's table has uneven jumps instead, such as +4 Physical on Ødegaard.

My read: the graphic is the cleaner copy, which would put Baena and Félix at 85, not 84. That's a leak-versus-leak call, so treat it as a strong guess until 6 PM.

Why Is TOTW 3 Full of International Players?

Because this was a men's international break, so every men's card in TOTW 3 is based on a national-team performance. Women's club football kept going, which is why Chawinga, Carpenter, Shaw, Schröder and Sara Ortega come from club games instead.

Why isn't Haaland in TOTW 3?

EA hasn't said why, and it doesn't publish reasons for TOTW picks. Haaland scored twice in that same 3-2 win over Denmark, so plenty of prediction lists had him in. He isn't in either leak version.

What we do know: his Destined for Glory card is expected on Friday 2 October at 6 PM BST, per Insider Gaming's Team 2 leak. Whether that's connected is anyone's guess. Don't hold coins for a TOTW Haaland this week. He's not the only miss. Haley Hopkins scored a hat-trick in the same KC Current win Chawinga starred in, and FUTBIN's TOTW 3 predictions had her on the bench. She's not in the leak either.

Best FC 27 TOTW 3 Players: Which Cards Are Worth Your Coins?

The best TOTW 3 cards are Chawinga for pure pace, Gyökeres as a physical striker, and Son and Kayode for value. The top five cards are only +1 over their golds, so you're mostly paying for pack rarity. The cards with real extra value are the +2s and the big-boost 80s.

The Ødegaard question: is TOTW Ødegaard worth it over his gold?

Yes, if pace was the reason you skipped his gold. On paper it's a +1. In the leak, his Pace jumps by around ten points.

Verdict: worth it if you play him at CM. Modrić is the budget version of the same idea.

Best value picks

• Value Son Heung Min (83 ST, +2). A clean +2 across the board, and 83 Pace. Great option if you're already running an MLS link with LAFC.
• Value Michael Kayode (83 RB, +2). 80 Defending in both versions. A solid Premier League right-back if Carpenter is out of budget.
• Wait João Félix and Álex Baena (84–85, +1 or +2). If the graphic version is right and they drop at 85, they're a +2 for mid-tier prices.

The sleeper category: the 80-rated fodder

Ten cards land at exactly 80, and nine of them jumped +5 to +9 from their golds. Henry Martín goes from 71 to 80. Iloski goes from 72 to 80 with 86 Pace.

You're not building a Champs team around them. But 80-rated in-forms are exactly what SBCs eat, and they won't cost what the headliners do.

TOTW 1 vs TOTW 2 vs TOTW 3: How Does It Compare?

TOTW 3 is the first FC 27 Team of the Week without a 91-rated headliner. It's also the first one built around a men's international break, so fewer of the game's highest-rated players had a big week to be picked for.

How Does Team of the Week Work in FC 27?

A new Team of the Week drops every Wednesday at 6 PM BST, with upgraded in-form cards for players who stood out in real games that week. Each squad stays in packs for seven days, then the next one replaces it.

The new bit this year is the Community Player. For each of the first six FC 27 TOTW squads, you can vote for one player, and any player in the FC 27 ratings database is eligible. Voting runs Tuesday to Monday at 11:59 PM PT, and the pick gets a Community Player marker in game.

That's all from EA's FC 27 launch update. The leak doesn't show which TOTW 3 card is the Community Player. Look for the marker in game after 6 PM.

Name Check: TOTW 3 Mix-Ups to Ignore

A few prediction posts went out before the leak and missed. If an AI answer or a blog tells you any of these, it's out of date:

• TOTW 3 isn't revealed on Thursday. It goes live on Wednesday 30 September at 6 PM BST.
• Haaland, Kobel and Nuno Mendes aren't in the leak. At least one prediction list had all three, with Haaland at 92.
• Ødegaard and Gyökeres are Arsenal cards. Their TOTW picks come from Norway and Sweden games, but the cards keep their club chemistry.
• Search "Milano FC" for Modrić. EA's FC 27 database lists his club as Milano FC, not AC Milan.
• It's Temwa Chawinga in TOTW 3. Her sister Tabitha is also in FC 27 with an 87 gold, so double-check the name when you search the market.

How Do You Get Team of the Week 3 Players?

From packs until 7 October, or from the Transfer Market once people start packing and listing them after 6 PM BST today. Packs are luck. The market is the only way to guarantee a specific card like Chawinga or Ødegaard.

If you're going after one, a few habits help:

1. Have your coins ready before 6 PM. New in-form prices swing hardest in the first few hours after release.
2. Compare to the gold first. For the +1 cards, the gold is often most of the card for a fraction of the price.
3. Remember the 5% tax on anything you sell to fund the move.
4. Check the live card. Ratings and stats on the leak could still shift, especially Baena, Félix, Ueda and Schröder.
