The straight answer: FC 27 TOTW 8 releases today, Wednesday 4 November 2026, at 6 PM UK time (GMT), and the squad has already leaked. Rodman (88) is the top card, followed by Unai Simón (86), Kerolin (86), Fermín López (86) and Morgan Rogers (85). The FC 27 TOTW 8 predictions mostly got the Barcelona pair, Weghorst and Diego Moreira right, and the big names wrong: Hakimi, Katoto, Verbruggen and Cristiano Ronaldo are all missing from the leak. It stays a leak until the cards go live.

Last week, US players got TOTW 7 an hour late because the UK changed its clocks first. US clocks changed on Sunday 1 November, so the gap is gone this week.

FC 27 TOTW 8 predictions: who did the experts back?

Most FC 27 TOTW 8 predictions agreed on a Hakimi-led squad with Katoto, Fermín López, Kerolin and Weghorst close behind. The match week gave them plenty to work with.

FUTBIN's TOTW 8 predictions called it a strong mid-range week without many top-end cards. Here are its picks next to what the leak actually shows:

fifauteam's 23-player prediction went in a similar direction and added Laimer, Ronaldo, Havertz, Ndicka and Giroud. ModdingWay's tracker called this week chaotic to predict, because several games had two or three deserving players. It also had doubts about Hakimi before anyone else did. More on that below.

The real games back up the prediction lists, so nobody was guessing:

• Hakimi scored a first career hat-trick and set up Godts and Mayulu as PSG won 5-1 at Le Havre on Friday 30 October, according to beIN Sports' report. Flashscore made Hakimi Man of the Match with a perfect 10.
• Fermín López set up both of Raphinha's goals and scored one in Barcelona's 6-1 win over Alavés on Saturday 31 October, per Devdiscourse's match report.
• Verbruggen made seven saves as Brighton won at the Etihad for the first time, and Yasin Ayari scored the only goal, per Sky Sports' match report.

Remember Ayari's name. It comes up again.

FC 27 TOTW 8 leaked squad: the full 23

The TOTW 8 leak has 23 players, led by Rodman at 88, with 11 cards at exactly 80. They come from ModdingWay's TOTW 8 leak, published this morning. EA hasn't confirmed any of it yet, so treat every number here as a leak until 6 PM.

Three notes before you build anything:

• Kerolin is listed at RM in the leak, not CM as the predictions had it. Check the live card before you slot Kerolin into a midfield three.
• Collins' stat line is missing one value on the leak page, which shows only five numbers. Don't price the card off a half-complete graphic.
• Unai Simón's six numbers are goalkeeper stats (diving, handling, kicking, reflexes, speed, positioning), not outfield ones.

Who is the highest-rated TOTW 8 player?

Rodman is the highest-rated FC 27 TOTW 8 card at 88 LM, going by the leak. The leaked face stats show 92 Pace and 84 Physical, a horrible combination to defend against in Rivals. Rodman plays in the NWSL, and a one-goal line is lighter than Hakimi's five, which tells you how EA weighted this week.

None of the prediction lists I checked had Rodman in it. That's the theme of TOTW 8.

Why did Hakimi, Katoto and Verbruggen miss TOTW 8?

Hakimi missed because of off-field circumstances, not performance. Katoto, Verbruggen, Malard and Ronaldo look like straight EA selection calls. No prediction model can see that coming. Here's the card that made it next to the one that didn't.

Why isn't Hakimi in TOTW 8?

Hakimi isn't in FC 27 TOTW 8 because EA isn't giving Hakimi new special cards, according to ModdingWay. Its leak report says that, because of off-field circumstances, the FC 26 Road to the Finals item was the last special card EA gave Hakimi. ModdingWay's tracker had flagged this on Friday, before the leak dropped. FUTBIN picked the PSG right-back anyway and admitted it was taking a punt, since EA had overlooked Hakimi in past editions too.

So the best individual performance of the week gets nothing. Five goal involvements from a full-back would get anyone else in. It's not about the football.

Why did Verbruggen miss out when Brighton beat City?

Because EA gave Brighton's slot to the goalscorer, Yasin Ayari. Ayari is in the leak at 81 CDM after scoring the winner at the Etihad. Verbruggen made seven saves, and ModdingWay called the omission inexplicable. I agree. But when a team wins 1-0, EA often picks the goalscorer over the goalkeeper, so build that into your own predictions.

What about Katoto, Malard, Ronaldo and João Félix?

• Katoto scored twice off the bench in a 5-2 win. EA had plenty of women's attackers to pick from this week, though: Kerolin, Pelova and Rodman all made it.
• Malard also scored twice and also missed out.
• Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick and got Man of the Match, per ModdingWay's tracker, and still isn't in the leak.
• João Félix had two goals and six assists across two games. No card either.

How accurate were the FC 27 TOTW 8 predictions?

Fermín López (86 CAM)

FUTBIN had the gold at 85, so this is a +1. The leaked 83/85/83/86/65/75 is a balanced midfielder. You're not buying a different card, you're buying a slightly better Barcelona LaLiga CAM.

Kerolin (86 RM)

Also +1 on FUTBIN's gold figure. 86 Pace and 86 Dribbling are the draw. The position change to RM in the leak matters more than the overall: if your gold Kerolin was playing CM, this card might fit a different slot.

Rodman (88 LM)

92 Pace, 84 Shooting and 84 Physical in the leak. On paper it's the best attacking card in the squad by a distance. It'll also be the most expensive, because it's the headliner and the walkout everyone wants.

Wout Weghorst (82 ST)

FUTBIN had the gold at 77 and predicted an 80. The leak says 82, a +5. That gets you 88 Physical and 83 Shooting on a target man. Slow and clunky on the ball, but strong in the air.

The 80s: SBC fodder

Eleven cards land at exactly 80: Di Lollo, Abada, Nusa, Nowak, Yassine, Collins, Mbangula, Ballet, Sainz, Pedersen and Altunkulak. Most came from three-goal or MOTM games in smaller leagues. You won't build a Champs team around them, but 80-rated in-forms are what SBCs eat, and they'll cost a fraction of the headliners. Nusa (87 Pace, 86 Dribbling) and Mbangula (87 Pace) are the two that are actually fun to play with.

How do you get TOTW 8 players?

From packs until 11 November, or from the Transfer Market once players start packing and listing them after 6 PM GMT today. Packs are luck. The market is the only way to guarantee one specific card.

A few habits help on release night:

1. Wait out the first hour if you can. New in-form prices swing hardest right after release, especially the headliner.
2. Compare to the gold first. Fermín and Kerolin are both +1 on FUTBIN's figures, so the gold is most of the card for less money.
3. Remember the 5% EA tax on anything you sell to fund the buy.
4. Think about the rest of the week. Road to the Knockouts is the next promo, with early Team 1 leaks including Pedri, Bonmatí and Bellingham. Don't spend everything on Wednesday if you want a live UCL card a couple of days later.
5. Check the live card. Kerolin's position and Collins' missing stat could still change.
