FC 25 Bundesliga Team of the Season Predictions: Bayern and Leverkusen Dominates

When it comes to one-sided Team of the Season squads, few can rival the expected dominance of Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen in the upcoming FC 25 Bundesliga TOTS. These two titans have mirrored their domestic league supremacy within Ultimate Team, making it nearly impossible to look beyond them when predicting this year’s squad. While some surprises may sneak in, fan-favorite stars and meta-relevant players like Alphonso Davies, Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, and Jeremie Frimpong are poised to headline a heavily stacked lineup.

With EA's continued emphasis on performance-driven upgrades mixed with fan vote popularity, the Bundesliga TOTS is shaping up to be a dream team for FUT players. Leverkusen’s near-invincible run and Bayern’s relentless consistency have created a pool of elite players destined for powerful TOTS upgrades. Let’s break down the names expected to make the final cut  with some shock contenders and SBC gems along the way.

Peter Gulacsi (GK) – 82 > 92 OVR

Choosing the Bundesliga's top goalkeeper for TOTS is no easy task, but RB Leipzig’s Peter Gulacsi may just edge ahead of the competition. Despite some strong performances across the league, Gulacsi stands out for his commanding presence between the posts and his consistency throughout the season. Currently leading the Golden Glove race with an incredible 13 clean sheets, the Hungarian shot-stopper has been crucial to Leipzig’s defensive stability.

With a fan vote helping shape the final XI, Gulacsi's chances are boosted by his popularity and the standout stat line. While Zentner could have made a case, Gulacsi feels like the more complete choice for EA Sports. Expect his TOTS card to become a go-to pick for Bundesliga-based squads in FC 25 Ultimate Team.

Alphonso Davies (LB) – 82 > 95 OVR

Alphonso Davies is likely to be a runaway favorite in the fan vote, and for good reason. The Canadian speedster continues to be one of the most exciting fullbacks in world football and a consistent standout in Ultimate Team. Even though he hasn't reached the peak levels of his Champions League-winning form, Davies has played a crucial role in Bayern’s league-best defense.

With 19 appearances contributing to a defensive record of just 29 goals conceded in 29 matches, Davies' inclusion is well justified. His electric pace, dribbling ability, and positional versatility make him a near-lock for TOTS, and his 95-rated upgrade could be one of the most feared left-backs in FC 25.

Dayot Upamecano (CB) – 82 > 94 OVR

Another Bayern defensive stalwart, Dayot Upamecano, makes a compelling case for Bundesliga TOTS. Much like Davies, his inclusion is supported by Bayern's elite defensive record and his in-game popularity. With 20 appearances this season, Upamecano has been a rock at the back, using his strength and composure to anchor the Bavarian backline.

From a gameplay perspective, Upamecano is already a fan-favorite, and a 94-rated TOTS card will only increase his meta viability. Expect this card to be a dominant force in Weekend League lineups thanks to his blend of speed, defensive IQ, and physical prowess.

Jonathan Tah (CB) – 86 > 94 OVR

Jonathan Tah continues to fly under the radar despite being one of the Bundesliga's most consistent and commanding defenders. Bayer Leverkusen’s title run has been built on both attacking flair and defensive discipline, and Tah is a major reason for that. His Kicker rating is the highest for any defender this season, showing how dependable he has been.

Leverkusen boast one of the league’s best defensive records, and Tah's calm, composed style has been instrumental. While not always flashy, he brings elite-level consistency, and his TOTS upgrade could finally give him the recognition FUT players have long overlooked.

Jeremie Frimpong (RB) – 84 > 94 OVR

Few players embody dynamism like Jeremie Frimpong, and his TOTS inclusion seems inevitable. The only question remains — will EA list him as a right-back or a right-mid? Frimpong has starred in both roles for Bayer Leverkusen, showcasing his incredible pace, dribbling, and attacking instinct.

Given the meta's preference for attacking full-backs, his RB version will likely appeal to most players. Regardless of position, Frimpong is a lock for TOTS and will undoubtedly be one of the most desirable Bundesliga defenders in FC 25 Ultimate Team.

Jamal Musiala (CAM) – 87 > 96 OVR

Jamal Musiala is one of the Bundesliga’s brightest stars, and he continues to light up the pitch with flair and finesse. With 12 goals already this season, the young German has played a pivotal role in Bayern’s midfield, often being the difference-maker in tight matches.

Musiala’s creative ability, tight dribbling, and vision make him a dream card in FUT. A 96-rated CAM version will make him nearly unstoppable in tight spaces and a must-have for anyone building a Bundesliga or hybrid squad in FC 25.

Joshua Kimmich (CDM) – 86 > 96 OVR

After missing out on TOTS last year, Joshua Kimmich is poised to make a triumphant return in FC 25. The midfield general has returned to form this season, anchoring Bayern’s midfield with intelligence, precision passing, and leadership. With one goal and eight assists, Kimmich has contributed on both ends of the pitch.

Operating mainly as a CDM this season, EA will likely give him a central role again. With elite links, top-tier stats, and incredible balance between defense and playmaking, Kimmich’s TOTS card could be one of the most well-rounded midfielders in the game.

Florian Wirtz (CAM) – 88 > 97 OVR

Florian Wirtz is the crown jewel of Bayer Leverkusen’s sensational season. Though his numbers are slightly down compared to last year, his influence remains unmatched. With 9 goals and 10 assists, Wirtz is not just Leverkusen’s talisman but also one of the Bundesliga's most effective playmakers.

EA has featured Wirtz in numerous promos this cycle, and his TOTS version will be a premium card. Expect a 97-rated CAM with absurd technical stats, ideal for breaking down defensive setups and dominating creative play in Ultimate Team.

Michael Olise (RM) – 82 > 94 OVR

Michael Olise has hit the ground running in his debut Bundesliga campaign with Bayern. After a promising spell at Crystal Palace, Olise’s move to Germany raised eyebrows — but he's more than lived up to the hype. With 8 goals and 10 assists, the French winger has been a constant menace on the right flank.

His dribbling and creative play have turned him into a breakout star this season. In FUT, a 94-rated RM version of Olise will bring agility, flair, and technical excellence — perfect for wide players in meta formations.

Patrik Schick (ST) – 82 > 92 OVR

Despite limited starts and several substitute appearances, Patrik Schick has been lethal in front of goal. The Czech striker sits second in the Bundesliga’s scoring charts with 17 goals, showcasing his natural finishing ability and clutch performances for Leverkusen.

He may not be the flashiest striker, but his stats can’t be ignored. A TOTS upgrade would give Schick a powerful target-man card that could provide an alternative to more pace-focused options in FC 25 Ultimate Team.

Harry Kane (ST) – 90 > 97 OVR

Harry Kane’s debut Bundesliga season has been nothing short of phenomenal. With 23 goals in 27 matches, the England captain is on course to win back-to-back Golden Boots. His clinical finishing, link-up play, and leadership have made him Bayern’s attacking lynchpin.

Speculation about a return to the Premier League swirls, but in Ultimate Team, Kane’s 97-rated TOTS card will be a complete striker: strong, accurate, and highly linkable. Expect this to be one of the most in-demand cards in the promo.

Substitutes to Watch

Piero Hincapie (CB) – 82 > 91 OVR: Another Leverkusen wall, Hincapie has flourished as a young defender this season. At just 23, he’s already considered among the best in the league. While Tah has been the standout, Hincapie deserves recognition too.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 86 > 93 OVR: Arsenal may have let him go too early. Xhaka’s Leverkusen renaissance has seen him rack up two goals, seven assists, and plenty of leadership. A back-to-back TOTS inclusion looks likely.

Paul Nebel (CAM) – 71 > 90 OVR: The breakout star of the season, Nebel has played a crucial part in Mainz’s incredible top-three push. With 8 goals and 3 assists, he looks set to be the TOTS “hidden gem.”

Jonathan Burkardt (ST) – 76 > 93 OVR: Burkardt’s 15 goals have been instrumental for Mainz, helping them climb to fifth. A perfect budget striker option with a serious upgrade potential.

SBCs, Objectives & Moments Predictions

Xavi Simons (CAM) – 83 > 94 OVR: A fan favorite with elite flair, Xavi Simons may just miss the starting XI — but an SBC route makes total sense. With 9 goals and 5 assists, his season still warrants attention.

Ritsu Doan (RM) – 78 > 91 OVR: With Freiburg outside the top two, Doan could be the objective player pick. His 8 goals and 7 assists show he’s no slouch either.

Hugo Ekitike (ST) – 76 > 93 OVR: Ekitike has risen to the occasion since Marmoush’s departure, scoring 14 goals and adding 5 assists. A Moment's card could offer players a powerful French forward with great Bundesliga links.
