Are you interested in starting your own FIFA 20 Ultimate Team? FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) is one of the most popular modes in Electronic Arts’ (EA) annual football series. In order to build your dream team, all you need to do is trade players, complete objectives and win matches.
What are FIFA Coins?
FIFA coins are a virtual currency that is used to purchase Items (coins, cosmetics and glory) on the market. FIFA coins can be used to trade FUT articles in the Transfer Market, or for acquiring packs from the Store. The Transfer Market is actually a place where people buy and sell their FUT players in order to assemble their respective teams. A person can buy FIFA coins by playing console games, completing challenges or selling their players. Likewise, you can take pit your FUT players against either human rivals or AI opponents and win matches.
What do you need FIFA Coins for?
There are two different types of currencies used in FIFA Ultimate Team, FIFA coins and FIFA points. The former is a virtual currency earned by winning matches and successfully completing objectives. On the other hand, the latter is a purely money-based currency which cannot be earned through in-game activity. FIFA coins are used to obtain new players on the Transfer Market by bidding for them or buying them outright. A lot of people prefer buying packs of players instead of individual players.
Buying and Selling FIFA Coins
FIFA coins are the chief source of acquiring new players as well as consumables when it comes to building your own FIFA Ultimate team. A person can buy FIFA coins using real money of course. In fact, FIFA coins can be bought directly in-game through FIFA Points. Alternatively, one can earn FUT coins by playing games and matches or by selling items on the Transfer Market.
Making FIFA 20 coins is now easier than ever. Winning battles in squad games gets you points. While squad battles may be quite challenging, they are loads of fun and helps you earn both coins as well as packs of players. In order to improve your club, you may consider buying packs or trading cards at the market. However, purchasing coins from a third party, distributing coins or promoting coin buying is considered against the EA’s Terms of Service, and doing so means that you will be banned permanently by EA Sports.
FIFA Coins Value and Rates
The rate of accumulation for FUT players is generally fair so that you can assemble a strong team without even needing to spend real money. On the other hand, if you are so keen on obtaining a bundle of FIFA coins without sweating for them, you can choose to dash the cash. FIFA coins do not have a fixed value in terms of real-world money. Still, if you are interested in assessing the effort required to earn FIFA coins by playing FUT matches, then 1 FIFA coin roughly approximates USD 0.0002. In other words, USD1 just about equals 5,000 FIFA coins.
Part 1: The Basics in FIFA Ultimate Team Trading
If you've always wanted to know how to become a successful FIFA trader, this new series is for you. Starting with the basics of FIFA Ultimate Team, we will gradually introduce you to the world of FIFA trading. Learn how you can quickly and easily earn millions of FIFA 20 Coins yourself.
1.1 FIFA 20 WebApp
With the FIFA 20 web app (PC) and the FIFA Companion app on your phone, you can access the transfer market without direct access to your console, provided you have already unlocked it. As a rule, 20-30 FIFA Ultimate Team games are required. In the WebApp you can also make changes to your team and buy FIFA Points and open packs. Of course, all squad building challenges are also available on the accompanying apps.
1.2 Futbin - FIFA 20 platform
Without Futbin as your constant companion, you shouldn't even think about becoming active in the FIFA transfer market! This is the ultimate tool to make as many FUT coins as possible when trading. There you will not only find a complete database with all values and details of the players, but also the latest coin prices for the respective cards, market indices of individual player categories, the latest SBCs and TDW predictions. In summary, you will ultimately find all the information you need for successful FIFA trading.
In the meantime, you can also find squad pictures, random packs and other bells and whistles at Futbin, which you can completely ignore while focusing on trading in FIFA.
1.3 FutHead - FIFA 20 platform
FutHead has a slightly different origin than Futbin in the FIFA Ultimate Team scene and in the past has focused more on squad builders and a large community, player reviews and corresponding discussions. Both sites have their advantages and disadvantages, depending on personal considerations. If the focus is more on successful trading, Futbin is ahead. If you prefer to exchange ideas about player strengths and weaknesses in a community or about user squads, you will probably be happier with FutHead.
1.4 The Tradepile
The Tradepile - everyone knows it, but most don't know how best to use the Tradepile for trading. First of all, not everyone is aware that the tradepile at FIFA 20 is now 100 slots and no longer has to be painstakingly expanded via the catalog.
The more objects you can offer on Tradepile at the same time, the more sales opportunities will be there and the more FIFA 20 Coins you can earn. It is therefore obvious to use the tradepile as far as possible down to the last slot.
1.5 More accounts, more FIFA Coins!
To start a new FUT season, you should create as many accounts as possible. The current console limit at FIFA 20 is seven accounts. FIFA accounts usually get free packs and daily gifts for the new season. The only prerequisite for the small gifts is daily login to the web / companion app.
The earlier the account was created in the previous FIFA Ultimate Team Season and the more actively it was used, the greater the rewards. With the gifts you not only get free FIFA 20 Coins, but also often free packs. All in all, the Daily Gifts and free packs are welcome gifts for the start, with which you can easily get one or two coins.
1.6 More FIFA Coins - more profit
The more FIFA coins you have, the easier it is to trade successfully. That means, you should either buy FIFA Points or FIFA Coins at the beginning of each season to have an initial budget to trade with. If you should choose cheap FIFA Coins, then it is best to look directly at us. We offer you cheap FIFA Coins and a safe coin transfer, guaranteed!
Next: FIFA TDW Trading
Legends or websites or YouTube videos still haunt the web, claiming that it is possible to generate an unlimited number of FIFA Ultimate TEAM Coins or FIFA Points. As a rule, you only have to select your desired amount and FUT Coins or FIFA Points and often install two or three additional apps and store your FIFA Ultimate Team data.
Hands off! There is no FIFA Coin Generator, and there is no FUT Points Generator. This is just a lousy trick to either steal your own FIFA Ultimate Team Account in the worst case or to let you download some senseless, possibly also paid apps.
Both FUT Coins and FIFA Points are still subject to a fee, although you can of course earn the first with some stamina. However, if you are somewhat impatient or your FIFA dream team simply costs too many coins, you can of course rely on WhatsGaming.net. Here you can buy FIFA Coins quickly, securely and cheaply. You can purchase FIFA Points as usual in the FUT store or in the respective console stores.
You can get FUT coins by playing FIFA Ultimate Team (short: FUT), squad building challenges (short: SBC), by selling objects or players on the transfer market or by buying FUT coins. The in-game options are of course more time-consuming, which is why a large proportion of FIFA players prefer to buy additional FIFA Coins. However, FIFA's players are divided on this question, with surveys showing that well over half of all FIFA Ultimate Team gamers invest at least the purchase price of the game title in one of the two game currencies, FIFA Coins or FIFA Points.
However, FIFA Points cannot be acquired through play. Buying FIFA Points is the only way to get EA's internal game currency. Here you have three options, on the one hand the in-house FUT shop, on the other hand the console shop of a PS4 or Xbox One or a reliable dealer online or locally. The crucial disadvantage of FIFA Points compared to FIFA Coins is that you cannot use them on the FIFA transfer market. In the end, you can only make a FIFA Pack Opening, i.e. open packs. However, you can then sell the drawn objects on the transfer market and receive FUT coins.
FIFA is about having the best FIFA Ultimate Team. And for that you need FIFA Points or FIFA Coins.
We have already explained the difference between FIFA Points and FIFA Coins in our blog post of February 20, 2020, which you can read here. You can buy FIFA Points directly from EA or in a PS4 or XBOX One Store. Fifa-coins, on the other hand, you have to purchase through third party providers. However, this detour often pays off, because FIFA coins are not only generally significantly cheaper than FIFA Points, but have another advantage: you can use FIFA Coins directly on the transfer market and do not have to do a FUT pack-opening first you never know which player you're going to draw.
You can only buy FUT-20 coins from third-party providers, which is why you should check if the website that offers FIFA Coins is legit. You can find our guide to check FIFA Coin Websites here.
Now that you have found a reputable seller of FIFA coins, for example WhatsGaming.net; you have two options to purchase the coins:
With player auction, you can usually transfer the purchased FIFA Coins to your FIFA Ultimate Team Account independently and all around the clock, regardless of which seller you use, without having to wait for a supplier.
On almost every FIFA Coin Website you have to choose the player you want to use for the transfer. The cost to buy this player for coin transfer will not be reimbursed. This procedure is risky because you have complete responsibility and often cannot know how to transfer FIFA-20 Coins safely. In addition, you will never receive the ordered amount of FIFA Coins, since you have to bear the costs for the player to be transferred.
For us, the player auction is completely different, always safe and absolutely fair. We give you the FIFA players to buy, the starting price and BIN that you need for the amount of coins to be transferred. We not only ensure that the FUT Coins are securely transferred, we also have a unique cashback system. With us, you don't pay a single player that you should use for the FIFA coin transfer. The purchase costs are already included in the transaction amount with us. So you always get the FIFA coin amount that you ordered from us.
2. Comfort Trade
At Comfort Trade, the customer has to do practically nothing other than lie down on the couch and wait until the supplier has transferred the ordered FIFA coins. All you need is your own FIFA Ultimate Team account data and backup codes so that the supplier can log in to your account to transfer the FIFA 20 Coins.
The advantages of Comfort Trade are certainly the low workload and it’s dead easy to use. All you have to do is submit your FIFA account details, nothing more is required of you. However, the Comfort Trade has another advantage over the player auction. You will receive the full order quantity, i.e. The 5% EA Tax does not apply to the Comfort Trade in contrast to the player auction. Incidentally, this is the same for all providers, including WhatsGaming.net. We will reimburse you the purchase costs at the player auction, but not the EA Tax.
However, the disadvantages are obvious. You have to pass on your FIFA account details. In theory, the supplier could steal all of your FIFA coins. So pay attention to where you buy FUT Coins. See if the website has a proper imprint and how professional the website is, for example, and what the social media presence is like. In addition, the website should have WhatsApp customer service and not just an anonymous chat window.
FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Accounts are often very valuable and have been used for years. Often there are not only numerous strong players on the account, but also a significant number of FIFA Coins. Maybe you have already bought FIFA 20 Coins in the past, or even FIFA Points on your account. Then your Ultimate Team Account is often already worth what you have invested. It is all the more important to have access to your account at all times.
What are backup codes?
This is where backup codes come in. They serve to secure your EA Fifa Ultimate Team account. If you have lost your mobile phone and any other authentication options are not working, you can log in to your Fifa Ultimate Team account as an additional option using the Origin Backup Codes.
Each Origin account has up to 6 backup codes. You should write this down and keep it in a safe place that is always accessible. The backup code is usually an 8-digit number that you can find under “Security” in your Origin account (see pictures).
What do I need backup codes for?
If you lose your mobile phone, the authentication app does not work or you cannot access your emails, you can only log in to your EA account using backup codes on a new device. You can find these codes in the security settings of your EA account and can also change them there.
Tip: Write down your backup codes and keep them in a safe place so that you can log in at any time.
Backup codes are also required for one of the two common transfer methods, Comfort Trade. So if you want to buy FIFA Coins and choose this method, the FIFA coin supplier will need at least one of your backup codes to log in to your Ultimate Team account. This is platform-independent and has nothing to do with the respective console. I.e. whether you want to receive FIFA Coins for PS4, XBOX or PC via Comfort Trade, you will be asked for your backup codes every time.
Where can I find my backup codes?
(1) You log into your Origin account at the following address: https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/security/index
(2) You click on "Security"
(3) You click on Show Backup Codes
(4) After you have verified yourself with a security code, you can see and change your backup codes.
If you've always wanted to know how to get FIFA Coins quickly without spending real money, this little blog article might be just the thing for you.
Here you get a compact and very comprehensive overview of everything that plays a role for the successful trader in FIFA Ultimate mode to get FIFA Coins easily. It is about trading methods & strategies, tips & tricks for trading and timings. You will find many entry-level aids in successful FUT trading here and will be shown ways of how you can best and most effectively increase your trading success and earn many FIFA coins.
What is FUT Trading?
With FUT-Trading you can target new players to strengthen your team. When pulling packs there is always luck and bad luck. With clever trading, on the other hand, you can earn many FIFA coins so that you can then buy your favorite players. Another advantage: trading is free. While you have to buy FIFA Points for additional or particularly expensive packs, trading does not cost you real money. i.e. you don't have to buy FIFA Coins.
Of course, there are also risks in trading. If you z. For example, if you speculate on investing in certain players, you can lose FIFA Coins. But don't worry, in the course of this guide we will first teach you the most important basics and then later advanced trading methods and tips. This allows you to significantly reduce the risk and really start trading.
FIFA 20 - Overpriced Selling
You buy a player or a consumable or club object at the lowest possible price and sell it again - at a price significantly above the market price. That’s how you get FIFA coins quickly and cheaply. Isnt it easy?
The method sounds crazy, but it has worked for years. This is based on buyers who are not clever. In other words, buyers who make mistakes. And there is more than enough of that. For example, so-called "lazy buyers" who lazily buy the next best property instead of looking for the best price. Or they are buyers who make mistakes in the price or even click and buy almost accidentally. Or they are players who are playing FUT for the first time and are unsuspecting in the transfer market. In any case, there will always be people who buy your players for more FIFA Coins than they are actually worth.
However, the prospects of success for the individual overpriced properties are different - also depending on the respective market situation. At least consider or check for which cards you can expect a good profit margin. It’s best to start with players whose market value is just above the discard price.
It is important with this method that you offer in the one-hour range so that your sales achieve the greatest possible visibility on the transfer market. If the object does not go away in the first run, put it again on the market, there will be a buyer, we promise. Overpriced Selling at FIFA has worked for years and is console independent. You can use it to make PS4 FIFA Coins as well as FIFA coins for XBOX, only when trading on the PC you have to be more careful due to the significantly smaller number of players.
Our opinion: This method is risk-free and easy to implement, at least in the low-price range. Depending on the object, fast and quite high three-digit and even four-digit winnings can be won. For example, if you opt for higher-priced players, check the market situation beforehand, otherwise you may even face a loss if the market price drops.
We hope we could inform you well 🎮
EA has hardly started a new campaign - for example the annual Team of the Year, everyone wants to invest in FUT packs to take advantage of the unique opportunity to draw a TOTY player. What many do not know is that the likelihood of drawing such a FIFA player is very low and it takes a lot of FUT 20 packs to have a chance at all. Just look at the following three scenarios:
- You can buy 12,000 FIFA Points for € 100.
- With the 12,000 FIFA Points you can open 80 of 7.5k packs.
- The 7.5k FUT packs usually have a low packing rate, i.e. good players are rarely drawn.
Scenario (1): Worst case
If we now assume the worst-case and do not draw a good FIFA player at all, then we would have an average of between 1100 and 1300 coins if we discarded every card. In total for the word-case this results in approx. 90,000 - 105,000 coins when purchasing 12,000 FIFA Points.
Scenario (2): Expectable result
As a rule, however, you have players with a total rating of 84+ in the number of packs, so that you should probably be on average around 200,000 - 300,000 FUT coins after you have sold all players from the 80 packs.
Scenario (3): Best case
If you are extremely lucky and draw one of the popular TOTY players or a Ronaldo, you can also get 1,000,000 FIFA Coins or even more out of the 80 packs.
Only in scenario (3) do you have the chance that buying FIFA Points will bring you more FIFA Coins than buying FIFA Coins directly. On average, FIFA coins cost around € 10 per 100k, sometimes even only € 5 at the end of a season. The FIFA Points costs always remain the same.
Shortly after the release, buying FIFA coins cheaply makes more sense than putting your money in FIFA Points. In addition, many FIFA Coin websites have their own discount programs, which EA also does not have. WhatsGaming.net has, for example, the following discounts, which depend on the amount of FIFA coins ordered
- 2% if you bought more than 1,000,000 coins
- 4% if you bought more than 5,000,000 coins
- 6% if you bought more than 10,000,000 coins
- 8% if you bought more than 15,000,000 coins
- 10% if you bought more than 20,000,000 coins
So if you want to buy XBOX FIFA Coins cheaply, you can benefit directly from an order quantity of 1,000,000 FIFA Coins for XBOX of 2% on the total amount. The same goes for PS4 FIFA Coins or the PC.
But enough self-promotion now. Regardless of the fact that we are of course of the opinion that buying FIFA Coins makes more sense for your Ultimate Team than buying FIFA Points, you can also test our example from above yourself. Maybe then you agree with us.
What is FIFA Mule Account?
In FIFA Ultimate Team it is extremely difficult to get a lot of FIFA coins. Only with a lot of luck, intensive trading and many games is it possible to get to a very good squad without having to buy FIFA coins. Therefore, many players are now taking the opportunity to buy a FIFA Mule account directly instead of FUT coins. This account is nothing more than an account where the owner has mostly earned a lot of FIFA Coins, including through Squad Building Challenges or FUT Trading. You can buy this FIFA Mule Account, use it yourself or transfer the existing FIFA Coins to your account on your own.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of buying a FIFA Mule account?
There are many different advantages and disadvantages to buying a FIFA Mule account. The possibility of having full access to the account and being able to transfer FIFA coins independently is an advantage for some, but not for others. There is a risk of being banned if you have no experience of safely transferring FIFA Coins. For this group, it is recommended to buy FIFA Coins directly from reputable providers such as WhatsGaming.net.
However, if you have experience, you can benefit from a FIFA Mule Account in two ways. On the one hand, the FIFA Coins on the account are usually cheaper. On the other hand, there are often players that you can sell for FUT Coins. However, all this has the disadvantage that you have to transfer the FIFA coins yourself and that is a correspondingly large amount of time. You also have to switch back and forth between your account and the mule account.
How do you transfer FIFA coins without being banned?
Since the transfer of FIFA Coins violates EA's terms and conditions, we recommend that you be particularly careful and exercise your patience. The safest way to transfer FIFA coins is to place the players on the transfer market for a maximum of twice the average price. You can look up the average prices of each player at futbin. In addition, you should allow 8 hours to pass each transfer until you want to transfer the next FUT coins. Of course, this method is time consuming. However, if you want to transfer FIFA coins safely, there is no way around it.
FIFA Mule Account cheaper than FIFA Points
However, if you decide against a mule account and do not want to buy FIFA Coins, you only have the FIFA Points. However, FIFA Points can only be used for packs and fut drafts. So you invest your money and you must be very lucky to draw a good player or to be somewhat successful in the draft. Here is a small overview of the current FIFA Points prices.
|FIFA Points||Real Money|
The principle of icon swaps is that every FIFA Ultimate Team player can get icons or icon packs. You don't have to put any money into many FIFA Points or the like to play with good Icon players. And also there will be no need to buy FIFA Coins to have icon players in your team.
By completing various tasks, you can earn icon swap players in the seasonal tasks. You collect these until you have the required number for your desired icon.
Since April 24, 2020, the second tasks for the current icon swap selection have been available. The tasks to be completed are very varied. Usually you also meet opponents at Division Rivals who also want to complete these tasks.
There are two different areas in which these tasks can be completed.
Which icon swap task is the best?
- Fut Champions: Win 12 games in Fut Champions
- Club loyal players: Win 5 rivals with 11 first-time players in the starting XI
- World stars: Win 5 rivals games with at least 2 players from Premier League, Ligue 1, Seria A, Bundesliga and LaLiga in your starting XI
- Top 5 Leagues: Win 4 rival games with 9 first-time players in your starting XI
- The Stars and Stripes: Win 5 Squad Battles games (at least difficulty: world class) with 11 US players in the starting XI
- Conmebol: Win 5 Squad Battles games (at least difficulty: world class) with 11 Conmebol players in the starting XI
- EFL Championship: Win 5 Squad Battles games (minimum difficulty: world class) with 11 EFL Championship players in the starting XI
- The team: Win 6 Squad Battles games (minimum difficulty: legend) with 11 Germans in the starting XI
If you have enough icon swap players, you can trade in the squad building challenges on the "Icon Swap" grid for your desired icon or the Prime Icon Pack.
You can get these icons!
- 6 players = Jari Litmanen PIM *
- 7 players = David Trezeguet PIM
- 7 players = Gennaro Gattuso PIM
- 9 players = Michael Laudrup PIM
- 9 players = Carles Puyol PIM
- 9 players = Prime Icon Pack
- 10 players = Marc Overmar's PIM
- 10 players = Ruud Gullit baby icon
- 10 players = Frank Lampard PIM
- 13 players = Paolo Maldini mid-icon
- 15 players = Kaka Prime icon
- 16 players = Kenny Dalglish Mid-Icon
- 16 players = Ian Rush PIM
- 16 players = Dennis Bergkamp PIM
- 18 players = Juan Runan Riquelme PIM
- 19 players = Diego Maradona Mid-Icon
- 19 players = Emmanuel Petit PIM
- 20 players = Fabio Cannavaro PIM
- 21 players = Carlos Alberto PIM
- 21 players = Garrincha Prime Icon
- 23 players = Zinedine Zidane baby icon
These icons are the best!
If you need a defender icon, Paolo Maldini Mid-Icon is the most interesting, with 13 required icon swap players. This card has very strong ingame values. Compared to Fabio Cannavaro, it is the best alternative to this icon swap set.
However, if you are looking for a midfield icon, Emmanuel Petit is the best choice. You can earn it for 19 icon swap players. Petit is an extremely strong all-rounder. It is an enrichment for every club.
However, if you are looking for an offensive icon card, there are only two options that you should draw. The first is Kenny Dalglish Mid-Icon, for which you have to swap 16 icon swap players. The second option is Garrincha for 21 swap players. Kenny Dalglish is a central offensive icon player and is known for his dribbling and final strength. Garrincha, on the other hand, is more of a winger who can convince with his dribbling and speed.
Our trading guide tells you how to gain the most difficult FIFA 20 coins in FIFA 20. This means that you're a FIFA player. You started an online game and saw the opposing team. The team is full of icons and players like, Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar - as special cards. Beating the exclusively high offence of these opponents is important. In the game you notice that the gamer is not playing that well. The opposite is often the case. You counter the opponent, you have more possession of the ball and a lot more chances to score. The ball will not go into the goal. Sometimes you hit the post, the other time the opposing icon keeper owns uncatchable balls and last but not least, the Prime Icon Moments Ferdinand "automatically" grabs the shot and prevents an actually safe goal. In return, it comes as so important. 2-3 One Touch Passes in the top on Ronaldo or Messi and the bell rings. Differentiate from impossible angles just hit the goal. In such situations, you no longer understand the world. At the same time, however, you doubt your team and think about how it would work if you yourself had a team of top players.
FIFA has become a lottery in recent years. More and more FIFA players spend money in FIFA points to draw packs to make FIFA coins. Another one is buying FIFA coins. Many other players who do not want to invest real money then think that they are at a disadvantage. Some ask themselves whether there is a way to build a dream team in FIFA without spending real money. Thank God there are many different ways!
Everyone can make FIFA coins!
The goal of any FUT player should be to continuously improve their team. This makes it possible to play and play more fun with a strong team. However, even if many coins are paid to buy the best top players for themselves.
There are too many trading methods that can be used to generate a considerable amount and coins without large funds and without previous knowledge. In order to be your first contact and to show that it is a good one and that all trading methods are easy to implement, I will show you some of them:
Make FIFA coins using the 0 method
A very important and easy FIFA trading method. This is where you buy popular 84 players (top 5 leagues and popular nations) and then place them on the transfer market for 7,000 starting price and 10,000 buy now price (BIN) for 1 hour. The sense is as follows: These players have a minimum starting price of 700. Many will not look up the sale price when selling and put the player on the market for 700 - 10,000 to bid. With the additional 0 you often do not see the difference and offer the player 7,000 instead of 700. 84's and popular 83's are particularly good here, as they are used for reading SBCs. Currently at TOTS time, we will be able to wait for new new SBCs in which 83s - 85s with higher highs will be more likely. For this reason, it makes sense to feel in demand with approaches and to put them on the market every hour for 7,000 - 10,000. For this method, you can choose all cards from the top 5 leagues.
As with any FUT trading method, gold is also used here: patience is the key to success. Just give it a try and you will see why this method is one of the most popular, especially at the beginning and with little start-up capital.
(See example of the "True 0 method" Diego Costa, normal price approx. 1.2k)
FUT trading with the 84+ method
I have a good friend who uses this FUT trading method and makes several millions with it alone. And when it comes to using a single player, you can find out which player it is and how this method works in this section.
The 84 and 85 method can be the whole FUT year because players with an 84 or 85 rating are the most likely to become SBCs. Since SBCs are offered all year round, these cards are also seen all year round.
This FIFA trading method is about buying popular 84 and 85 players, if they are “cheap” and selling them, they will increase in price. If you know what exactly the “cheap” and “expensive” fees are, you should include more.
During the course of the FUT year, many SBCs (Flashback, POTM, Guaranteed TDW or special events) appear regularly, which usually require 84 and 85 team ratings.
After the release of these SBCs, popular 84s and 85s almost always rise significantly in price. Depending on how popular the SBC reward is, the cards required will increase accordingly. Basically, you should buy the players if no SBC is currently offered. Since the SBCs come regularly but also expire, you have to shop in phases when it is "quiet". Reward days or pack offers during events are the best times to buy the players as cheaply as possible. Ideally, you even bid the players to get them even cheaper than buy it now price.
Now let me explain what I mean by popular players. Popular players are those who can be linked very well in SBCs. This includes the players from the top 5 leagues. Another criterion is the nation of the player. Popular, easy-to-link nations are England, Italy, Germany, Brazil, France, Spain, Argentina, Netherlands and Portugal.
It is also advantageous to take players from the top clubs of the top 5 leagues, because they increase in reality due to their popularity.
From my experience, I can say that goalkeepers barely rise and remain largely stable in price. The exception is Neto from FC Barcelona. Because of its nation and high rating (85) it is very popular and used in many SBC teams. So much for theory. Let's take a look at what it looks like in practice:
A friend of mine noticed very quickly that Carvajal is increasing the most from Real Madrid to SBCs, which (among other things) require an 85 team rating. Carvajal fulfills all the requirements that we mentioned earlier. He plays in the La Liga, is Spanish and plays for a top club. It is one of the most popular cards in SBCs. Especially since he is the only RV with this rating.
So my colleague does nothing but fill his club with Carvajals as soon as it is available for 10k and cheaper. By "make club full" I mean, if possible, the complete transfer list (100 places) and the complete watch list. You do not have to fill the entire club with one player with this trading method, otherwise you are limited with other methods. This was just one example of how my colleague does it. He has little time to trade and is therefore fully focused on this type and on this player. Success proves him right!
As you can see, there are always several options on how to proceed with a method. Of course, it also works if you buy fewer players. Of course, I've done this method very often with Carvajal. Its price rises to 25 + k according to popular SBCs. When Carvajal was available on the market at a "quieter" time without interesting SBCs for 9k, I decided to invest 500k in it to see what would happen when the next good SBC came.
So I bought 50 Carvajals and waited about a week for a new SBC. Of course, this was associated with a certain risk, because you never know exactly when the next attractive SBC is coming. There were also 50 places on the transfer list.
When a very attractive Flashback SBC came after a short time, I knew that it was worth the wait and the risk. Hazard Flashback was the SBC player and of course 85 cards were needed. Carvajal was perfect for this, especially since he is Spanish and also plays for Real Madrid. Carvajal quickly reached a price of just under 20k.
Since Hazard is a very popular player and also has extremely good values, many FUT players have done this SBC. So the investment had paid off in full. All Carvajal cards could easily be sold at a price of 18-20k. We remember the purchase price of 9k. The profit per card was therefore just under 10k. The same process was already worth gold in FIFA 19, as the Miranda example shows. At that time still in Serie A, with good nationality on the left, plus IV. With interesting SBCs, a price increase of 6-7 k to its normal price (9k) was not uncommon. Here, the normal price was almost doubled.
(Carvajal's price history. Good to see the constant ups and downs - peak in late March / early April when the Mid Icon SBC was released)
If, as in my case, you invested around 500k in Miranda, you would quickly reach over a million. Of course, not everyone has 500k to invest in, but that's not the point. Any investment at the recommended price (8-9k) would be profitable. And making profit is ultimately the key.
Now I would like to show you which 84 and 85 players are most worthwhile in FIFA 20 and which purchase prices can be described as "cheap". All 84s are considered to be the "cheaper" price if they cost less than 4k. For the 85s, a good guideline is usually below 9k. With the exceptions, I wrote the price behind it. Depending on the market situation, players can either be offered or purchased for immediate purchase. It's up to everyone.
(Example of the 85 method, based on Icardi)
The 84 and 85 method is definitely suitable for Premier League players. Since the POTM PL SBC comes every month, the PL players are used more and more. Sokratis is one of the best teams in the 84 series because he is the only central defender.
In series A there is a large selection of 84 and 85 cards in FIFA 20. You can find cheap players with advantageous nations for practically every position.
In FIFA 20, Ligue 1 only offers a limited selection of 84 and 85 series. The 86s and 87s are more interesting here. Verratti, Marquinhos, Di Maria and Keylor Navas are among the cheapest players with this rating. In addition, everyone plays for PSG, which quickly brings high chemistry. A chemistry of 80 is now required for many SBCs. It is easier to achieve high chemistry with the players mentioned.
The La Liga offers a very large selection of 85 cards this year. As mentioned earlier, Carvajal is an extremely popular card for SBCs in this area. But players like Marcelo, Aspas or Koke also have potential for good price increases. In the area of the 84s, Felipe from Atletico Madrid is the most popular player. Because of its nationality and position, is always an interesting option. Since FIFA 20 there is also a monthly POTM SBC for La Liga. This is also a positive factor for potential price jumps.
The Bundesliga is also very popular because a POTM SBC comes here every month. There are many 84 cards, especially compared to last year. The investment in Niklas Süle was and is really worthwhile this year. Since he is the only IV in this rating region, regular price explosions can be expected here.
Now you should have an overview of which players can be used with this method and what the approximate "cheap" purchase price is. However, this is only a guide.
In the end you have to decide for yourself what profit you are satisfied with. Of course, you can also make a profit if the players are more expensive than I specified. It is just a point of reference that you can use as a guide. If you use this trading method for a certain time, you will get a feeling for how high which player usually rises and can therefore set your own purchase price.
Best time to sell players in FIFA
The best time to sell is of course after the publication of the respective SBC. At what price you sell the player is up to you. Some are happy with 2k win per player, others wait for the player to increase by 5k.
It is in our nature that we always want to take the maximum with us, but this is often the wrong decision when trading. I believe that a safe win should be preferred to risk.
In my experience, players reached the highest retail price approximately 2 hours after the SBC was released.
I make it so that immediately after the SBC is published I add my players with an 84 rating at the starting price of 7,000 and instant purchase of 10,000. As you can see below some of them are already going away for these prices. I usually sell the remaining players 2 hours later at the market price.
Successful FIFA trading requires patience
In addition to patience, the basic requirement for FUT trading is continuity. There will be phases when you will think about giving up because no sales will be made. It is precisely in these situations that you have to show patience and stay tuned!
There will inevitably be moments of success and these will push you to continue. The longer you deal with trading, the better you get.
Remember that you only have to invest a little time to learn these methods once at the beginning. The knowledge you have learned and applied will be retained forever afterwards. You will be able to use these trading methods in all future versions of FUT as they will not change.
I recommend you set a dream team as your goal, which you can work towards. This team is likely to include many expensive players. It will be difficult for you at first to imagine having such a team at some point. Set yourself small intermediate goals by first focusing on a player. Once you've bought the player, move on to the next one. And so you keep going until you have your dream team together.
